My Story: Will O’Brien
As a chiropractor for 30 years, I have seen numerous people with dizziness from mild to intense. One morning when I went to get up, the room tilted and spun like a top. I literally could not lift my head from the pillow without debilitating vertigo. There was anxiety along with the obvious symptoms.
I went through diagnostic procedures. The cause of the problem could not be determined, but serious health problems were ruled out. The symptoms would diminish at times and then return with intensity. Driving a car was impossible. Turning my head would bring on symptoms with simple activities like crossing the street. In my practice when I would lean over patients, my head would feel miles above my feet. Years went by with no lasting resolution.
David evaluated me to determine the status of my craniosacral balance. The imbalance was not very significant, but David’s thorough understanding of the way my cranial bones were in dysfunction resulted in him treating me from head to toe in a way that not only brought me relief of dizziness but also finally restoration of normal balance. I can now drive without any symptoms. Since this malady affected my whole life, I thank David for not only solving my disabling dizziness but also for giving me back my quality of life.
My Story: Ellen McKay
For many years in my 20’s, I thought my dizziness was a direct result of allergies to grass, dust, trees, and the like. Most of my “attacks” (where the room was spinning and I became nauseous) were in the springtime, when grass was being cut. So I associated the dizzy spells to persistent allergies.
However, in subsequent years, I had the attacks at random times – when no pollens were present to be the cause. I was gripped with fear during these attacks because I felt as if I would pass out or couldn’t get to a “safe” place where I could lie down and wait it out. The spinning sensation would last anywhere from 2 to 4 hours.
The variety of doctors I visited treated me for allergies, hearing loss, tinnitus, and Meniere’s disease. Each thought they had found the problem and treated it accordingly.
Then I met Dave Christine and started to visit him for CST. After he worked on my temporal bones and spine, I had no more symptoms for about 4 years. From that time forward, I have been a true believer in the work that Dave does in CST. The dizziness episodes have been much less frequent in recent years. And when I start to have the sensations of dizziness, I schedule an appointment and go for treatment.
The knowledge that I can call Dave for CST is a great relief and I know that CST will relieve my symptoms.
Here are two awesome testimonials. Not everyone gets complete relief in one session as these two woman did, but it is not surprising. Typically it takes 6 sessions or less. Anything more is a tough case, which is rare, and there will be some obvious complication such as a history of multiple concussions that has jammed up the bones unusually tightly.
My Story: Tarah Probst
For over 13 years I have suffered from Vertigo along with a lifetime of motion sickness. I cannot sit in the back seat of a car. If I am not driving, I have to stare straight ahead. I cannot turn my head in any way. I cannot ride buses, I get sick; limo’s, I get sick; airplanes, I get sick. You get the picture.
Two times a year since 2001 Vertigo strikes me and I am down for 2 days. I can’t pick my head up off a pillow, I spin constantly. When I take medicine to make it go away, I then sleep for a full day and eat like it is my last meal. It is horrific and it was unstoppable.
When it hits, it hits hard. I have tried everything. Doctors have told me it happens in “type A”, stressed out people. Doctors told me it happens to women after they turn 30. You name it, I heard it. I had a CAT scan done in 2006 that showed a “normal” screening. WHY does this happen to people. It is the absolute worst feeling you could ever imagine.
To get to my point, right before Thanksgiving 2014, it hit me again. This time, it was not as intense, but lingered for a week. I would take ginger which would “curb” it, but by night time it was full force. I didn’t take the Meclazene because it was over Thanksgiving and I couldn’t be down for 2 straight days again. I really got worried when after a week, the dizzies were still there.
My friend told me about David Christine and his knowledge of my problems. On the same day, my mother saw an ad in the newspaper and told me about him. I was so desperate and didn’t know this man even existed. I called him immediately. He saw me immediately.
As I was on the table, I could feel the spins stop. It was a relaxing process and he explained what was going on by his techniques and I literally got up from the table spin free and never felt better. I recently went on a trip to Arizona by plane and rode in the back seat and had zero feelings on the “spins” or nausea.
I am so thankful his name crossed my path and he cured me. He truly is a wonderful person who cares about people and how they feel. Thank you David Christine!
My Story: Pam Fries
Before Craniosacral therapy:
My name is Pam. I am 60 years old and have been suffering with vertigo since November 2009. It’s not the spinning kind but more of a bouncing sensation as if the earth were moving under my feet. It all started when I awoke one morning after tossing my head back the day before. I had all kinds of diagnostic testing and was told that I had inner ear crystals. The Epley maneuver helped very little.
I truly believe that this equilibrium problem stems from a fall I took down a flight of stairs in 2001. I crashed my face into a wall and injured my neck. Thank God I was OK but in 2005 I began to feel the effects of the fall. Facial pain and eye problems eventually led to surgeries in 2006, 2010 and 2012 to help correct a deviated septum and cataracts. As for my neck, I am in no pain though I cannot look up without feeling off balance. I was recently told to find an upper cervical chiropractor for the dizziness. They are few and far between.
I tell people that “I’d feel great if I could just take my head off!” Well, I am hoping that you are an answer to my prayers. Please let me know if you think cranial-sacral could work for me and what you charge. I am beside myself. Thank you and God bless.
After CST
My CST session with David was very special. During the session I was extremely relaxed and knew that I was in good hands. When the session was over I walked out of the room on air and refreshed. No more bouncing! The earth was no longer moving under my feet! My prayers were answered! I suffered for 5 long years, practically holding onto walls. During that time, I refused to take any meds to calm me down and relied on my faith in God, prayer, meditation, Reiki and a special Christian symbol to help get me through the “vertigo crisis,” until I was divinely led to David where I can now say that I am 100% better. His CST method of treating vertigo is truly amazing and I recommend it to anyone with any sort of head and neck issues. The quality of my life has dramatically improved and medical doctors should take seriously the “holistic approach” that is out there to help heal their patients. CST is certainly the way to go. Isn’t it time that we all work together for the good of mankind?
