- To educate as many people as possible about the benefits of craniosacral therapy for vertigo, why and how it works and why other medical and alternative treatments do not work.
- Encourage more craniosacral therapists to develop the knowledge and skill to quickly relieve vestibular vertigo and to disseminate through the internet and print media educational and academic articles to further this goal.
- To change the way doctor’s diagnose and treat vestibular vertigo.
- And most of all to bring an end to the horrific misery of countless people suffering from vertigo who could easily be cured with craniosacral therapy.
Background and Credentials
Since I first “cured” my Mom of Meniere’s disease way back in 1994 I have lost count of how many people I have seen who found that craniosacral therapy quickly relieved their vertigo no matter long they had suffered from it, several in fact had suffered twenty to 30 years with no help from medicine.
I didn’t know Meniere’s was supposed to be medically incurable and by the time I found out I had already relieved vertigo in several more people, although none of them had Meniere’s which is relatively rare. I decided to do some research and ended up on a two year journey working 20 to 30 hours a week without pay and reading over 4000 journal articles with no explanation whatsoever from the medical profession.
It’s no wonder that blog after blog on vertigo support groups sites say almost identical things something like these:
“I have seen 3 regular docs, 3 ENTs, 2 neurologists, and a psychiatrist. I have had every blood test they can think of a couple of times. 3MRIs, 2 CAT scans, physical therapy by 2 different places. In all of this they still have no clue what is causing my spinning and act like I’m making it up. They are just clueless.”
Compare that to this from an 82 year old craniosacral client:
“God bless you, David. That was a beautiful thing you did. God saw what you did David. It was like I was a drowning man and you rushed over and pulled me out and saved my life. God saw what you did.”
In 1999 my technical paper, “Temporal bone misalignment and motion asymmetry as a cause of vertigo” was published in Alternative Therapies in Health and Medicine. The original paper was entitled “Curing the incurable” and focused on Meniere’s disease but the editors wouldn’t let me use the title and I had to delete all references to Meniere’s. Still it was a great step forward in finding some clarity about how to diagnose and treat vestibular vertigo which is frequently caused by abnormal temporal bone movement in the skull as you will discover on the this website.
Despite the great success I have had, local doctors refuse to refer anyone to me and routinely blow people off when they say craniosacral therapy cured them. One doctor who was willing to send me referrals even told me not to use his name publicly as the local doctors would turn against him. (He sent me 2 people.) I approached a number of doctors with the journal article but no one would even read it.
As I approach 74 years of age, having successfully treated vertigo patients with craniosacral for over 25 years, I have to wonder who will take my place when I retire or die as there is no one else I know of in the local area who can do what I do. While there are craniosacral therapists throughout the USA who find as I do that relieving vertigo is a no-brainer, there are apparently many who either do not have the skill level in craniosacral therapy or do not have a sufficient understanding of vertigo to focus in on the problem and solve it quickly. I also find that many doctors and therapists fail to differentiate different types of vertigo and therefore the patient gets the wrong treatment with no results. This site will explain how to determine which type of vertigo you have and what the proper treatment is so you can get quick results the right way.
Thank you for visiting my site. For those suffering from vertigo, I hope you spend some time browsing the entire site and find it enjoyable, and informative, and most of all that you find a craniosacral therapist near you who can relieve vertigo as quickly and easily I can. For craniosacral therapists who may be having difficulty with vertigo or may not know much about it, I hope this site helps develop the skills that will make relieving vertigo a no-brainer as it is for me. Good luck to all. I truly want to see vertigo eliminated as a troublesome diagnosis and for everyone to see how really easy it is to cure with craniosacral therapy..
